Joint ventures are a wonderful possibility for land owners who want to stay in their location, desire a new home, but prefer not to outlay the cost of a build. Essentially joint ventures are agreements in property development structured to optimise the strengths of each party involved — the landowner's ownership of the land and the building company's expertise and financial capacity for construction. This collaboration aims to maximise the profitability and success of the development project for both parties. In exchange for a new luxury custom home build, the land owner offers the building company a subdivided parcel of the completed property. For example, this can look like the land owner and building company splitting the completed luxury duplex.
